Please note that a new key register and booking sheet is being implemented at reception. Due to difficulties in the past with lost keys and non-paying visitors at the Tennis courts, the following new rules will be implemented with immediate effect:

• Members collecting keys will have to sign for receipt of a specific key and will be responsible for returning said key to reception.
• Members will have to provide the full names of all visitors accompanying them.
• The time that keys are signed out and returned will be noted.
• Members are expressly reminded that court keys may not be removed from the Club, and that no copies of keys may be made. Transgression of these rules may constitute grounds for disciplinary action.

Dear Members

Most of you will be aware that the Club had installed an electronic T-Booking system in order to facilitate the bookings more effectively and improve our service delivery to our members. The following rules and regulations will apply to the booking of tee-off times at PCC.

General:

1. Names of all the players have to be provided before the specified cut-off time one day in advance.

2. In the case of affiliated guests the initials, surname and name of the guest’s home club have to be provided before the specified cut-off time.

3. The no-show rule will apply to all bookings.

4. Affiliated visitors who book and fail show up will be blacklisted.

5. Bookings can be made at the pro-shop Tuesdays to Sundays, between 7h00 and 18h00

6. Bookings can be made at the reception on Mondays and between 18h00 and 19h00 on weekdays when the pro-shop is closed.

Tuesdays:

1. The ladies golf committee will be responsible to hand in their bookings for Tuesdays at the reception no later than 12h00 on Mondays.

2. The reception staff will capture the bookings on the T-Booking system before 13h00 on Mondays.

3. The reception staff can then take bookings for times not taken up by the ladies after 13h00 on Mondays.

4. No cancellations will be accepted after 13h00 on Mondays, and the player who fails to cancel and don’t show, will be responsible for the applicable fees.

5. Booking sheets for Tuesdays will be opened 8 days in advance.

Wednesdays, Thursday, Fridays and Sundays:

1. Names of all players have to be provided to the pro-shop and captured by them on the system, no later than 12h00 on the day before the day, the tee-off time is booked for.

2. Failure to supply the name of a player before the cut-off time will result in the cancellation of the reserved spot in that particular four ball.

3. The pro-shop will be responsible for the cancellation procedure of all tee-bookings made. No cancellations will be accepted after 13h00, the day before.

4. A waiting list will be kept for possible cancellations. The golf professionals will contact the members on the waiting list by telephone if or when a cancellation is made.

5. Booking sheets will be opened 8 days in advance.

Saturdays:

1. The booking procedure with regard to the drawing of numbers on the Saturday before continues as at present.

2. The golf professionals will capture the bookings on the Tuesday before the Saturday in question. The capturing will be completed by no later than 12h00 on the Tuesday.

3. The booking sheets for Saturdays will be opened for members on Tuesdays after the pro-shop has completed the capturing of the bookings from the number draw.

4. The names of all players should be provided to the pro-shop no later than 12h00 on the Thursday before the Saturday.

5. Failure to provide the name of a player before the cut-off time will result in the cancellation of that reserved spot in that particular four ball, and the spot will be offered to other players on the waiting list.

6. Any member who wishes to invite a guest on a Saturday will have to get permission from the golf captain or vice captain prior to the booking being captured.

7. The rules applicable to restricted members concerning Saturday play will apply.

8. Cancellations will not be accepted after 12h00 on the Friday before the Saturday in question.

We are aware that it will take some time for all the members to familiarize themselves with the new booking procedure and our staff will be ready to assist where possible. Please feel free to contact us if you require any more information in this regard.
