Social tennis is organised by the Tennis Committee on the last Saturday of each month at 14h00. For R15.00 you get enjoyable tennis as well as tea and cakes.

All other social tennis is organised by individual members. If you are looking for a game on a Saturday afternoon, join Moonyeen Wiehahn at about 14h00 on the courts.

Please remember that novices are welcome too!

The tennis section is currently engaged in several interesting initiatives. One initiative is our membership drive to get more existing Pretoria Country Club members to join the Tennis Section and enjoy a game of tennis in our wonderful setting near the dam.

We therefore invite all Pretoria Country Club members to join us for enjoyable social tennis every Saturday afternoon. Play usually starts at 14:00. Members of all ages, including juniors, are most welcome. What a super way to enjoy some weekend exercise …amidst beautiful surroundings, congenial company, with a beer or two after the game. A visitor’s fee of R30 per person is payable whenever a person who is not a member of the tennis section uses the courts.

We also extend this invitation to all diplomats. Several members of the diplomat community already enjoy tennis with us, so please feel free to join in. We even have a tournament against the diplomats once a year! Usually a very well-supported event!

Golfers, did you know that…

Your golf subscription fee also entitles you to become a member of the Pretoria Country Club’s other sports sections, including tennis, without paying the subscription fee for that specific sports section. The only fees payable are the affiliation fees and playing fees applicable to the particular sports section.
